Dawn of the Code War

Dawn of the Code war is a story about the new front of international conflict; hacking. With real-world examples the author takes us on a journey through the struggles our government faced, and continues to face, in addressing theft of intellectual property, identity, and attacks on infrastructure.

I didn’t feel at all that the book was partisan in any way. I felt the author addressed issues of politics with impartiality. His analysis was as factual as can be, and it made sense to me based on my understanding of the political climate of the times he spoke about.

The book was frustrating at first. It seems like we let other countries steel from us and acted too slowly. But, he ends on a positive, if not sobering, note. It’s a battle that we’re actively engaged in.

I highly recommend this book.
